It’s finally here.
It all started last February when we first discovered this classic chalet-style duplex built during the depths of WWII (in fact, we found crumpled war newspapers serving as insulation inside the walls!!!). She was definitely in need of some love, but John and I are suckers for homes with classic charm. Was our decision to purchase the 5 acre property emotionally influenced by our honeymoon in Switzerland?
You bet.
Do we regret the 6 months it took to practically gut the entire building?
Not at all.
We knew Evergreen needed some new rental blood on the market, and I think we created something very special. This has been our favorite project to date, and we can’t wait to share more stories of renovation horrors, successes, and the beautiful end product that just hit the market mid-January.
